How would you define “values?"

Values are what you hold important, the reasons behind how you act with others and how you carry yourself.

What does the Rosemont Mission mean to you?

The part of Mission statement that sticks out to me the most is "Rosemont College seeks to develop in all members of the community open and critical minds,"  because I think it emphasizes the statement as a whole. Rosemont aims, in a number of ways, to get students to try things they normally wouldn't try and to try new  classes offered, activities on campus, clubs, and different branches of the College, such as Campus Ministry.

If you were a shoe, what kind would you be and why?

A soccer cleat, because they belong on the soccer field. I belong there too.

Year: 2017
Campus Involvement: Soccer, Campus Ministry

Name 5 things you love (other than your family) or love doing?

  1. Playing soccer
  2. Reading
  3. Biking
  4. My dog
  5. Cooking

What goal are you currently trying to achieve?

Currently trying to graduate while also looking for jobs to pursue in Philadelphia after graduation.

Who or what inspires you?

My parents, both immigrants from Paraguay, strive everyday to provide my siblings and I with the best lives possible. The are my role models, as well as my biggest supporters.

Where is the furthest place you have traveled?

The furthest I have traveled is Argentina for a soccer tournament in 2011.

Favorite college memory? (from which college?)

My favorite college memory was winning my first collegiate tennis match at Rosemont. I never played before that season and although it was fun enough just to compete, it was an overwhelming feeling to finally find success towards the end of the season with a win.

What advice would you give to your college self?

Step out of you comfort zone and open new doors.
