When did you know you wanted to become a doctor and why?

I knew from the time I was in kindergarten. I remember dressing up as a doctor for Halloween that year, then asking my parents everything about them. Ever since that initial interest, I’ve gained knowledge through different experiences-physician shadowing, volunteering-at a hospital, that have proved to me that I definitely want to be a doctor.

What do you do for fun when you’re not studying?

I enjoy binge-watching shows on Netflix. I also love trying new restaurants and foods in the Main Line and Philadelphia areas with my friends. Additionally, I enjoy running and exercising, especially with good music, and use those as outlets from studying.

How has the POWER of small helped you?

During my first year at Rosemont, I was able to develop a close relationship with my advisor, Dr. Skokotas. She introduced me to upperclassmen who helped me study and have become my best friends. She also made sure I understood concepts that I would have to know for the MCATs. I am proud to say that I passed the MCAT this summer - my first try.
