Marcus Thomas Named to All-Atlantic Region First Team

ROSEMONT, PA – Senior captain Marcus Thomas was rewarded with an outstanding 2015-2016 season by being named as a guard to the All-Atlantic First Team, compiled by D3hoops.com.

Thomas became the first Rosemont men's basketball player to earn CSAC Player of the Year honors and was also a first team all-CSAC pick. A starter in all 27 games for Rosemont, Thomas led the CSAC in scoring (21.3 ppg) and assists (4.7 apg). He has also contributed 48 three-pointers, 33 steals and 150 rebounds, all while averaging 31.7 minutes per outing. Thomas' 158 free throws made rank fifth all-time on the CSAC single season chart. Thomas has averaged 18.2 points per game during his two seasons with the Ravens, good for seventh-best all-time on the CSAC career list.

Thomas set new records this season for Rosemont's men's basketball program in points scored, assists, field goal attempts, field goals made, free throw attempts, and free throws made. He also set new program single-game records for points scored, assists, field goals made, and free throws made.
