Rosemont Professor earns 'Go for the Green' award
For her tireless effort to promote environmental awareness and sustainable practices, Dr. Jeannette Dumas, a Rosemont College Biology professor, has earned the "Go for the Green" award in the Education Category from the Lower Merion Township Environmental Advisory Council.
Thirty nine Ravens earn All-Academic honors from CSAC
Thirty nine Rosemont athletes have been selected to receive All-Academic honors by the Colonial States Athletic Conference on Friday for the Winter/Spring Sports Seasons. That total represents 45.9 percent of the total amount of student-athletes that participate for the Ravens winter and spring athletic teams.
Chairman of Fred's Footsteps Sylvia DiBona to speak at 2018 Commencement
Rosemont College is pleased to announce that Sylvia DiBona will serve as this year's Commencement speaker and will be granted an honorary doctoral degree by the College's Board of Trustees. Sylvia DiBona has been chairman of the board of Fred's Footsteps, a public charity founded in the memory of her late husband, G. Fred DiBona, Jr, since 2005.
Rosemont appoints new Athletic Director
Rosemont College appointed a new Athletic Director on March 12. Filling the position is former Penn State-Abington Associate Athletic Director and head baseball coach Joseph Pavlow. He will replace Lynn Rothenhoefer, who served as Athletic Director for the past 13 years before leaving in December.
Lawrence Gallery Presents Color, Space, and Time: Paintings by Jean L. Blumberg
Lawrence Gallery is pleased to announce a new exhibit featuring the paintings of Philadelphia-based artist Jean L. Blumberg. The show, titled Color, Space, and Memory, will be on display from May 3 through May 28, 2018. An opening reception will take place on Saturday, May 5 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., with an informal gallery talk at 3:30 p.m.
