Commencement at Rosemont College has been described with these words since 1925 when the first two Rosemont graduates, Patricia Stevenson and Helen Blake, received their degrees in what we can only imagine was a very personal ceremony tailored just for them.

Rosemont College has been my home for the past four years. I am still in disbelief that in just a few weeks I will receive my Bachelor’s Degree. As a freshman, I honestly never thought this day would come. I can remember the seniors that year telling me how fast it all went, and I did not believe them until now. Alongside my friends I have created memories that will stay with me forever. My college experience would not have been the same, if it weren’t for the people I met here.

Every May, the Rosemont College community comes together to celebrate the commencement of students of the graduating class. For some, it is a long-awaited day, while for others it has arrived too fast. Regardless of which, the members of the college community cannot deny that the day itself is an exciting celebration from sunrise to sunset.
