Rosemont College has been my home for the past four years. I am still in disbelief that in just a few weeks I will receive my Bachelor’s Degree. As a freshman, I honestly never thought this day would come. I can remember the seniors that year telling me how fast it all went, and I did not believe them until now. Alongside my friends I have created memories that will stay with me forever. My college experience would not have been the same, if it weren’t for the people I met here.

Every May, the Rosemont College community comes together to celebrate the commencement of students of the graduating class. For some, it is a long-awaited day, while for others it has arrived too fast. Regardless of which, the members of the college community cannot deny that the day itself is an exciting celebration from sunrise to sunset.

Annual Seder Supper celebrates interfaith worship

Rosemont College recently celebrated its Annual Seder Supper in Honor of Ethel Levenson, which took place on Tuesday, March 21st at 5 p.m. in Main Building. The notably diverse campus of approximately 1,100 has built a strong interfaith presence with various initiatives throughout the years including the annual Seder, a tradition which is now in its 52nd year.

When asked for her reaction upon notice of her selection, Isabella said, “I was shocked to hear that Prof. Perkinson and I would be receiving this research grant.” She added, “It is never something that I imagined and I am grateful for the opportunity. I hope to learn a lot this summer and I am excited to get started!”
