Finally, I live in Southern Chester County, PA and have enjoyed serving on the board for the past three years. I have been honored to participate on this team, am excited about the future of Rosemont College, and look forward to serving another term.
Olesya Kuchma ’13 - As a graduate of Rosemont College, I believe I would be a great addition to the board. Receiving my MBA from Rosemont post undergrad, I am currently an adjunct professor for the Graduate Studies at Rosemont College. Klarisse Torriente ’10 - I am nominating myself for this position because I had a very interesting time at Rosemont College and I care about the success and future of each of the students and the institution itself. I graduated with my BS in Forensic Sociology in 2014 and since then have graduated with my MSW this year (2017). Between the interim of leaving Rosemont till now I have served as an Outreach Advocate at a Homeless Shelter in Troy, New York, an Academic Coordinator for Precollege and College programming at Greene Correctional Facility in Coxsackie, New York through the lens of Hudson Link for Higher Education in Prison, a fellow in public policy for the Center for Women in Government and Civil Society, and I will be starting a position as Director of Community Outreach for Habitat for Humanity of the Capital District this Monday the 26th. I am a community organizer by trade and I think the skills that I have acquired over the years coupled with my past experience would contribute positively to the alumni board.”
