Rosemont Professor Featured in Main Line Today

Randall Brown, a white man with grey hair, stands in a creek holding a big fish he caught.Randall Brown, Adjunct Faculty for SGPS Creative Writing, and his wife, Meg Boscov, were recently featured in Main Line Today. This spring, they released their first collaborative book called Hand in Hand about macro photography and micro fiction.

A celebrated author in the genre of  flash fiction, Randall Brown is a former English teacher at Jenkintown High High School before joining the Creative Writing faculty in Rosemont's MFA program. Flash fiction is a genre that tells a complete story in a very limited amount of words.

Meg Boscov, a photographer, takes photos of natural elements with a macro lens. This allows her to take magnified pictures of tiny objects. Brown, inspired by her images, uses them as prompts to write.
