The Office of Institutional Advancement announces updates in Alumni Relations:

Joe Darrah resigned from his position as Director of Alumni Relations in February.

Julie Hyland has been promoted from Leadership Gifts Officer to Assistant Vice President for Alumni Engagement effective March 1, 2022.

Julie has been a crucial part of the Institutional Advancement team for six years. In her role, she has formed close relationships with alumni, benefactors, faculty, students, and staff. Her love of Rosemont is evident in all that she does as Rosemont holds a special place in heart. Her mother, Barbarann (Skel) Skelly Wright, was a member of the Class of 1953.

In her new role, Julie will continue managing many of the projects that she has taken on in the last few years, including our Centennial Gala in April. Julie will act as the liaison with the Alumni Association Board, and she will play a pivotal role in the implementation of Rosemont’s Pathways of Alumni Engagement program. In addition, she will spearhead the Reunion events this June.

"During my six years at Rosemont I have had the wonderful opportunity to meet so many amazing alumni from all over the country who treasure their Rosemont education and experience," said Julie. "I look forward to continuing to cultivate a robust community that engages alumni purposefully, personally and professionally."

Congratulations, Julie!
