Employee of the Month: Lisa Redfern

Lisa Redfern, operations manager from Parkhurst Dining, has been selected as December’s Employee of the Month!
Lisa is known for her attention to detail for Rosemont’s dining services and catering.
She also goes the extra mile to decorate the dining hall for every holiday, creating
a truly welcoming and joyful space for our students.
Lisa has been at Rosemont since she joined Parkhurst 14 months ago. Prior to Parkhurst, she worked as general manager at area country clubs.
“I really liked Parkhurst’s solid reputation,” she said. “I really enjoy my coworkers; it’s a very supportive community.”
Student Life has noted that Lisa always goes above and beyond when collaborating with them on their visions for events. They noted that she always remembers things that they did not even realize they needed!
Jeff Chesney of Parkhurst shared, “Lisa makes sure Parkhurst is always exceeding the expectations of our customers. She does this by working 16-hour days and covering callouts in the Raven’s Nest, staying until 1:30 in the morning to make sure the final details of a catering event went well, coming in on weekends to cater a sports banquet, and doing her everyday tasks as the operations manager here at Rosemont. It is a true blessing to have Lisa working for Parkhurst at Rosemont College.”
Outside of Rosemont, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family – including two rescue dogs.
“I am also recovering from moving on Friday!” she notes. “We just bought an old house on Old Gulph Road that we look forward to settling into.”
“A college is a very different environment compared to country clubs,” she said. “I’m really enjoying my colleagues here and interacting with the students.”
The Rosemont community congratulates Lisa on being recognized as December’s Employee of the Month for all her contributions to the College.
