Employee of the Month: Helen Sciubba

Helen Sciubba, Director of Advancement Services, has been selected as January’s Employee
of the Month!
Helen Sciubba was looking to transition into higher education when she saw a position open in advancement at Rosemont nearly 19 years ago.
“I grew up with Catholic education and Rosemont’s mission really spoke to me,” said Helen. “I have worked in development and advancement here ever since.”
Helen has risen through the ranks and in May 2022, she was promoted to Director of Advancement Services.
“My primary responsibilities are to process and acknowledge donations the College receives,” she said. “I pull reports to help our fundraising team understand where we are, where we need to be, and how we’re going to get there. I also assist with college-wide events such as Founders’ Week, Commencement, and Reunion Weekend.”
In her role, Helen interacts often with alums and with Rosemont’s business office.
“I really enjoy speaking and interacting with donors and alumni,” she said. “Many of them give back to Rosemont because their education made a big difference in their lives, and I enjoy hearing their stories.”
When Helen is not at Rosemont, she enjoys cooking, baking, gardening, going to the beach, and spending time with her family, especially her three-year-old grandson.
“I really love the people and feeling of community at Rosemont,” she said. “We have such a diverse community. We are a place where it’s all hands on deck and people care about each other.”
The Rosemont community congratulates Helen on being recognized as January’s Employee of the Month for all her contributions to the College.
