Dr. Dumas Featured on Local Television for Rosemont’s Environmental Programs

November 19th, 2018. Jeannette Dumas, PhD, Assistant Professor of Biology at Rosemont College, was interviewed by Brian Hoppy, Chair of the Environmental Advisory Council for Lower Merion Township, about Rosemont College’s environmental science curriculum.

Dr. Dumas – who is also the coordinator of the environmental studies major – spoke about the biology and environmental studies programs at Rosemont.

“Part of our mission statement is to care for the earth, our common home, and at Rosemont College we infuse the mission in everything that we do,” said Dr. Dumas.

Dr. Dumas was honored with the 2018 Go for the Green Award for Education by the Lower Merion Township Environmental Council. The award recognizes residents, businesses, organizations, and schools in Lower Merion Township and Narberth Borough for efforts to improve and protect the environment.
