"The experience which is most valuable is the
experience of doing things for yourself-getting
self-confidence, getting the feeling that you stand
on your own two feet." ~Eleanor Roosevelt

Our Mission
The Women's Center at Rosemont is a comfortable space for students, faculty, and staff. The center focuses goals on equality, fairness, and understanding while providing resources and referrals to educate and empower the Rosemont Community on a plethora of issues. These include: sexism, sexual harassment, acquaintance rape, eating disorders, and racism. We also focus on development of leadership skills, educational workshops, and supportive services. The center provides the community a forum to raise issues, voice concerns, share ideas, and implement productive activities for the betterment of women's lives. When not holding a workshop or sponsoring a speaker, the women's center is open daily as a place for people to gather, read, watch TV and movies, surf the web, and engage in dialogue with other Rosemont Community members.
We greatly encourage and welcome feedback, suggestions, and ideas to better serve the needs and interests of the Rosemont Community.
Our Location and Hours
We are located in the lower level of Alumnae Hall, a.k.a. the "T", next to the Grind Café.
