2006-2007 Coaching Staff Volleyball Head Coach: Joe Gillespie, 1st Season Joe Gillespie takes the position as head coach for the 2006-2007 fall season. He comes to Rosemont by way of Collingswood High School where he served as head coach for the Boy's Volleyball Team. While there, Gillespie led the team to 6 Olympic Conference Division Champions. In 2006, he was named Coach of the Year for Boy's Volleyball by the Courier Post. In addition, Gillespie has been the head coach of the Intensity Volleyball Club as well as being the head volleyball coach for Rutgers University-Camden. He is also a member of the American Volleyball Coaches Association AVCA Asst. Coach: Megan Whitman, 1st Season Joining Gillespie this year is alumnae Megan Whitman. Whitman, who graduated in 2006, was a four year starter on the volleyball team. She led the team in aces and was even the National Collegiate Athletic Association's (NCAA) statistical leader in aces her sophomore year. Aside from being a statistical leader on the team all four years, Whitman was also a strong leader holding the position of captain for her junior and senior year. |
