2006-2007 Coaching Staff 
Head Coach:Joe Long, 1st season (coacharch7@yahoo.com) Joseph Long makes his coaching debut for the Ramblers this spring. Long, a graduate of St. Joseph's University, started off his coaching career as head coach of Harriton High School. From there, he moved into the position of head coach for the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. Long has also been the head coach for international teams such as American Express and North American Spirit, which have traveled overseas and played in countries such as France, Germany, and Holland. Long currently works as the Director of Environmental and Cultural Resource Management for Ambric/Livington. He resides in Bala Cynwyd, Pa. 
Asst. CoachJami Hughes, 1st season (jhughes@rosemont.edu) Jami Hughes also takes over the assistant coach position at Rosemont for the first time this spring. Hughes, a graduate of Rosemont in 2005, was a starter on the team for four years. She was also was voted to the Pennsylvania All-Conference team all four years. She currently holds 19 school records. Hughes hails from Churchville, PA. She graduated from Rosemont in 2005 earning a Bachelor's degree in English and Secondary Education. Hughes is currently working at Rosemont as the Sports Information Director of the college. She is also the assistant coach for the field hockey team. 
Asst. CoachLarry Cooper, 1st year (Laurence.Cooper@dla.mil) Larry Cooper also joins the Rosemont athletic family as an assistant coach. Cooper brings to the squad a lot of experience. He started our coaching recreation ball in Summerdale as well as coaching the Pennsbury Panther's and Philadelphia Spirit travel teams; the latter of which he founded. From there, he took the position of assistant coach for St Basil's Academy softball team. After, he joined coach Long at University of Sciences in Philadelphia as the assistant coach. Cooper has also coached international teams that have traveled to countries such as Belgium, Australia, and Holland. Cooper currently works as Logistics Manager Specialist for the Department of Defense. He resides in Northeast Philadelphia. |
