2006-2007 Coaching Staff
Head CoachLynn Rothenhoefer, 8th Season (West Chester University, 1990) fhlax@rosemont.edu Coach Lynn Rothenhoefer is in her seventh season as head coach of the Ramblers. The 2005 season will mark the Ramblers sixth season as a varsity team. Coach Rothenhoefer instituted the new NCAA Division III lacrosse program after competing one year at club level status. In 2004 Rothenhoefer led the Ramblers to a 10-7 season and their first ever trip to the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference semi-final playoff game. Coach Rothenhoefer was an assistant coach at Upper Darby, Penncrest and West Chester East High Schools prior to her arrival at Rosemont College. While with the Penncrest Lions, Coach Rothenhoefer helped coach the team to its first-ever berth in the PIAA District Tournament, where the team ultimately vied for the Championship. A former lacrosse defender for the Golden Rams of West Chester University, Coach Rothenhoefer has had three All-PAC First Team players, three All-PAC Second Team players, and one All-PAC Honorable Mention player. The 2003 season also brought her first PAC Player of the Year, All-American, two-time NCAA Division III points-per-game leader and 2001 goals-per-game leader, Julia Brown (Interboro/Glenolden, PA). Brown also became the number two All-Time/All-Division scoring leader in NCAA history. Coach Rothenhoefer is also a clinician and coach at the United Sports Training Center in Downingtown, Pennsylvania, and in the past two years has led four teams to the lacrosse finals of the Keystone State Games. The United Sports Teams have brought home gold from the last three consecutive State Games. Also the Athletics Director at Rosemont College, Coach Rothenhoefer currently resides in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania.
Assistant CoachKristin Berkenbaugh, 2nd season Newest to Rosemont's coaching ranks is Kristin Berkenbaugh, in her first season as assistant coach of the Ramblers lacrosse team in 2005. Kristin comes to Rosemont after a respectable career at Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. An All-American at Shippensburg, Kristin graduated in 2001 with a BS in Business Administration-Marketing, and is currently a Master's candidate at Temple University in the Sports and Recreation Administration program. Kristin currently resides in Folsom, PA, and is a Logistics Coordinator for EB Games in West Chester. |
