2006-2007 Coaching Staff 
Head Coach: Andy McGovern, 5th season (Saint Joseph's University, 1971) amcgovern@rosemont.edu Head Coach Andy McGovern will enter his 4th season as the Rambler's head coach. Coach McGovern finished the 2003-2004 season with a 8-16 record. McGovern brings 13 years of coaching experience to the Ramblers, including five years as the head coach at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. While at the University of the Sciences, McGovern compiled a 79-62 record, and brought in some solid local recruits. Coach McGovern has also coached at Eastern, Villanova, Saint Joseph's, Temple, and Widener Universities in his career. Also a familiar face at numerous Blue Chip Shootouts, camps, and clinics, Coach McGovern has worked with Cathy Rush, Bill McDonough, and Nike. In his second season McGovern had one All-PAC Honorable Mention player, Maura Long (Pittsburgh, PA/North Catholic). McGovern teaches in the Philadelphia School District, a position he has held since 1992. A graduate of Saint Joseph University, McGovern earned his Master's in Education from Villanova University. He currently resides in Havertown, Pennsylvania. 
Associate Head Basketball Coach:Brian Mulligan, 3rd season Brian Mulligan enters his third season as the Associate Head Women's Basketball coach for the Ramblers. In his three years at Rosemont, Brian has also served as the strength and conditioning coach and has implemented many programs that have helped build the team and ultimately lead them to their most successful seasons to date. Brian attended West Chester University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and minored in Coaching. He graduated Cum Laude in 2003 and also received certification in Strength and Conditioning from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Brian currently resides in Mullica Hill, New Jersey with his wife and newly born daughter Breanne. He currently works as a full time personal trainer at the Pike Creek Fitness Club in Wilmington, Delaware. |
