Information for Transfer Students
Admission Deadline: Rolling
Minimum GPA: 2.5
Admission Requirements:
1. Rosemont College Application
2. Official College Transcripts*
3. 500 word typed Essay, describing a significant life experience
4. Two letters of Recommendation, either:
a) Two Academic Recomendations (Teacher Evaluation Form)
b) One Academic and One Professional Reference
5. $35 Application Fee - waived if student applies online or visits campus
* A high school transcript is required if student completed less than one year of college.
Students must file FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) by March 1st. For Rosemont scholarship consideration, deadline: February 15th

Merit Scholarships:
Merit Scholarships are awarded based on a student's GPA and extracurricular involvement. Students are automatically considered for scholarship if they apply for the Fall semester, have filed FAFSA and have a 3.0 GPA or higher. Transfer scholarships range from $2,000 to 7,500. Two half-tuition scholarships are available for outstanding Phi Theta Kappa students.
When will I know if I was accepted?
Students will be notified of their acceptance status within 7-10 business days of completing their application.
How many credits will transfer to Rosemont?
Rosemont accepts up to 80 credits but evaluations are done on a case-by-case basis. At least half of the credits for the major must be taken at Rosemont; certain majors may require more. Credit evaluations generally take 3 business weeks.
