What are entrance requirements for a first-time student?
Rosemont is a moderately selective college. As such, it is important that we are confident that you have the academic skills to succeed at our College Your grade point average (GPA), the quality of the curriculum you studied in high school, standardized test scores (SAT or ACT), and the SAT/ACT essay will be reviewed during the admissions process.
At what intercollegiate athletics level does Rosemont participate?
Rosemont College participates at the NCAA Division III level. We are members of the Colonial States Athletic Conference. Our athletics program is growing rapidly. In 2009-2010 Rosemont added men's basketball and soccer. In 2010-2011 we will add men's and women's cross country and men's golf. What is there to do when I am not in class or studying?
There is plenty to do at Rosemont and surrounding areas. With many different clubs and activities there is always something going on. Just a few of our many clubs include: RamSquad (Dance Team), Jest and Gesture (theater club), and Thorn (literary club). Also students who share similar interests may start their own clubs. Just hang around campus and there's plenty going on: this fall we have a Philadelphia Slick concert, Karaoke Night, Quizzo and Brain Freeze event, a drive-in Star Trek movie on Connelly Green, and Poppin' Friday at the Grind and much more!
Also Philadelphia and its surrounding area offers things to do for all your tastes. Whether it's going to a professional sports event, attending a play in one of Philly's opulent theaters, visiting historic sites such as Independence Hall or Valley Forge, or dining out on Penn's Landing, you'll get the true Philadelphia experience.

Can I study abroad?
Yes! Rosemont College encourages all of its students to expand their learning horizons. The College has several study abroad partners in Austria, France, Ghana, Italy and Ireland, and more recently has added a trip to Mexico to experience the Day of the Dead ceremonies.
When are your application and enrollment deadlines?
Rosemont College practices rolling admissions. This means that the sooner you apply and complete your application, the more quickly you will receive a response regarding your admissions status. Applying and completing your application file early also ensure that you will receive priority in the packaging of your financial aid. We recommend that you submit your application and required documents by January 1 (December 1 is the application deadline for students applying to the Rosemont college/Drexel University early assurance program.) Once you are admitted to Rosemont, it is important that you submit your tuition and housing deposit by May 1 so that you are assured of your first choice in our residence halls.
Are there scholarships available through the college?
Rosemont College offers merit based scholarships for our undergraduate students. The amount of scholarship awarded varies based on SAT/ACT scores and high school grade point average. There are also Rosemont grants available for students who demonstrate sufficient financial need through the FAFSA process.
