By now you have received your Rosemont acceptance letter in the mail, and may have even gotten a congratulatory phone call from your admissions counselor. Congratulations! Your high school record of academic excellence is something you take great pride in. We do, too. And we know that as you graduate as a member of the Rosemont College Class of 2014, will be even prouder than we are today. We are confident that a Rosemont education will build on the success of your high school years to prepare you for a lifetime filled with even greater achievement.
So what is your next step? Here is a list of what to expect in the upcoming months:
- Receive and review your acceptance packet.
- Visit campus if you have not already. This is a great opportunity to meet Rosemont faculty and staff, ask questions, take a campus tour, and speak with current students.
- File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) after January 1st on http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/. The FAFSA is required if you are to receive any form of financial aid while attending Rosemont College. By listing Rosemont College's code 003360 on the FAFSA your information will be sent electronically to our Office of Financial Aid. Once you receive your financial aid package from Rosemont College, be sure to send back the Financial Aid confirmation form, through which you will accept or decline the various awards which you have been offered.
- Send in your Decision Acknowledgement Form with the required tuition and housing deposit to guarantee your spot at Rosemont in the fall. This deposit is refundable until May 1st; any deposits made after May 1st are non-refundable. This deposit can be made by check, money order or credit card and should be sent to:

- After submitting your deposit, you will be sent important information from key College departments including Residence Life, Student Life, and the Academic Support Center. Please complete all forms as quickly as possible, and mail them back to the appropriate department.
- The Office of Residence Life will send you a questionnaire to determine roommate compatibility. The Residence Life Office does its best to honor roommate requests that are made before July 1st. Residence halls and roommate will be assigned in late July.
- As a deposited student, you will be assigned a date for College Advising and Registration for Entering Students (C.A.R.E.S Day). This event is hosted by the Academic Support Center and will give you and your parents an in-depth understanding of the numerous support services that Rosemont College offers. will also receive a preliminary schedule of classes based upon your academic background and intended major. Should you be unable to attend the specific assigned C.A.R.E.S. Day, please contact the Student Academic Support Center at (610) 527 0200 ext. 2372 to reschedule.
- Finally, Rosemont Orientation will begin the last week in August. Welcome to the Rosemont Community!
