Student Accomplishments

Tina Soumahoro received an NSF grant fir research in nanotechnology at Syracuse University. This work was presented at the annual Sigma Xi meeting in California. Tina is now working in the pharmaceutical industry.

Melissa John also on an NSF grant worked in a research group at Juniata College. Melissa will be attending Drexel University College of Medicine in Fall 2005.

Rebecca Crimian interned with Genzyme Genetics at Abington Memorial Hospital and will be attending the University of North Carolina in Fall 2005 for an MS degree in Genetic Counseling.

Mary Smeller is working on a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry at the University of Oregon after working for two years as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania.

Santisree Tanikella along with Melissa John is a participant in the Early Assurance Program with Drexel University College of Medicine and will enroll in fall 2005.

Miksha Patel and Sana Ghafor are juniors in the Fast Track program with Drexel University College of Medicine. They will spend three years at Rosemont before enrolling at Drexel. They will receive a bachelors degree from Rosemont as well at the MD from Drexel.

Rose Alken and Sara Ball are both teaching high school chemistry
