Major Requirements for a B.A. in English, English Literature Track
In addition to meeting the course requirements for each respective
major, all students must also fulfill the General Education requirements
for the Undergraduate College. The Bachelor of Arts degree in English
requires 120 credits.

Six English Electives 18 credits
Six
English electives are required, at least two electives must be above
the 200-level. With the mentor’s approval, students may also take a
course in creative writing as an elective.
In addition to these
course requirements, senior English majors must successfully complete
the senior comprehensive requirements.
