Welcome to the Undergraduate College at Rosemont College. 

I am pleased we can present you with many opportunities to learn and to grow in our community of learners. The Undergraduate College can offer you a new General Education curriculum that we believe is grounded in the traditions of a liberal arts education and at the same time meets the needs of today’s students.

Throughout your four years in the undergraduate College the faculty will mentor you and guide you as you transition from high school to college

The Undergraduate College also has 24 majors, two of which are brand new to the curriculum with the 2010 Academic Year. Our new majors are an interdisciplinary major in Environmental Studies that bring in political science, history, science and other areas into the study of the environment, and a single major that combines the best of the disciplines of English and Communication for students who are interested in both disciplines. We are beginning a revised Honors Program this fall and we have a number of majors that can transition seamless into the master's degrees offered in the Schools of Graduate and Professional Studies at Rosemont. We also have numerous opportunities for you to go beyond the traditional classroom and to get involved in your education through service learning, internships, and study abroad programs.

Throughout your four years in the undergraduate College the faculty will mentor you and guide you as you transition from high school to college, as you become grounded in your major, and as you plan for your first job or to enter professional or graduate programs after you graduate from Rosemont.

With all that the Undergraduate College has to offer this is an exciting time to be part of the College.  I wish you success in your studies and I hope you take advantage of all we can offer you in the Undergraduate College.
