Alan A. Preti, Ph.D., director, Institute for Ethical Leadership and Social Responsibility at Rosemont College was presented with a plaque in recognition for the College’s 50 years of dedicated membership to The Main Line Chamber of Commerce.

The Main Line Chamber of Commerce (MLCC) hosted “A Celebration of Business Leadership” on June 27 at The Desmond Great Valley Hotel & Conference Center in East Whiteland.

Rosemont College was a program sponsor of MLCC’s 2013 Class of Leadership Main Line. Leadership Main Line (LML) develops personal leadership skills, with a particular focus on nonprofit board service. Participants learn to create a rewarding legacy for themselves and their companies as they make connections with the region and the people who help power it.

The Celebration of Business Leadership luncheon honored the eleventh graduating class of LML and awarded local businesses and individuals for their exemplary work in various categories. It also provided the opportunity to share these tremendous achievements and celebrate accomplishments of the business community, learn new strategies and explore issues relevant to the Main Line region and beyond.

Dianne Villar, assistant dean of students and director of residence life at Rosemont College, was one of the graduates of the 2013 Class of Leadership Main Line.
