Ways of Giving

Be sure to ask your employer if they have a matching gift program. Matching gift programs are a great way to double or even triple your gift to Rosemont. Many companies also match contributions from retirees. Simply obtain a matching gift form from your Human Resources office, complete the appropriate section of the form and send it to Rosemont with your gift to the Rosemont Experience Fund.

Gifts of Securities

Stock or securities can be transferred via a DTC account to Rosemont’s accounts.

  • Rosemont's DTC # is 141
  • Account name is Rosemont College.
  • Account number is 6824-6913

The donor can hand in or mail in the stock certificate to Rosemont. For processing, Rosemont will need:

  • A letter from the donor indicating their wishes to transfer the shares of stock
  • A Stock Power which needs to be completed and signed by an authorized signer at Rosemont College
  • A Corporate Resolution

For stock that is transferred to a Rosemont account, Rosemont values the gift on the day the stock enters the account.

If the donor provides a stock certificate, the College uses the date that the certificate was physically received at Rosemont.

The stock is valued according to the average of the high and low on the date the stock is received and multiplied by the number of shares being donated.
