All of our undergraduates benefit from:
• All faculty are practitioners in the fields they teach. If you are taking a Criminal Justice course on dealing with diversity, you will be learning from a police professional who was a driving force in the reform of racial profiling. If you are a business student learning about ethical and legal issues in business, you will be learning from an attorney who is responsible for the ethics of a major global company.
• All of our courses have been overhauled and brought up to the minute. Faculty bring news headlines and their own current work experience directly to class every week. And so do your colleagues. Study with other adults who work in a fascinating array of professions that contribute actively to your learning.
• All faculty are superb, award-winning teachers. They know that you learn best by doing, not just by theoretical understanding. Every class includes collaboration and simulations as well as lectures, where your knowledge and experience from life and work contributes to everyone’s learning.
• All courses are available in a variety of formats, times and locations. Do you work on changing shifts? Not a problem: take courses in person when you can, and take them online when you can’t. Do you work Downtown or in another state? Not a problem: take courses at Rosemont Downtown at the hub of Philadelphia’s transportation, finance, and justice systems.
• We make sure all support services that you need are available to you. We start by analyzing your writing and study skills, and provide any extra boosts you may want before you take your first three-credit course here. Our job is to provide support just in time so that your first experience and all subsequent experiences are positive and successful.
• We have an extensive set of partnerships with businesses large and small to reduce the cost of your degree program. Ask your Human Resources director about help with tuition at Rosemont.
