What does the Rosemont Mission mean to you?

I think my favorite piece of the mission statement is “joy in the pursuit of knowledge.” It reminds me that life isn’t about the end goal. It’s a process and a journey that we all take together.

If you were a shoe, what kind would you be and why?

I would probably be a Chacko! You can hike, bike, kayak, run, and basically do anything in these sandals …They aren’t the most attractive shoe, but they do have a really cool Instagram account!

Would you rather be trapped in an elevator with Bill Gates or Bono?

I like this Bill Gates/Bono elevator scenario. They could both pay our way out of that elevator pretty quickly, but Bono could offer some musical entertainment in the interim, so I think I would have to choose him!

Campus Involvement: Campus Ministry, Liturgies, Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer Break Service Trips, Leadership and Spiritual Development

Name 5 things you love (other than your family) or love doing?

  1. Hiking
  2. Brunch…and lots of it
  3. Road trips with friends
  4. Going to concerts/shows
  5. Philadelphia (but maybe not their sports teams)

What goal are you currently trying to achieve?

I’m trying to learn to play the ukulele via Youtube tutorial with little to no success (yet).

Who or what inspires you?

I get inspired by something new every day. Sometimes inspiration strikes though a person; sometimes it’s a song or a casual moment or a place in nature.

Where is the furthest place you have traveled?

Italy for a summer semester abroad in college.

Favorite college memory? (from which college?)

Weekend brunch at The University of Scranton. There was nothing more joyful than rehashing the week with friends over an unlimited supply of breakfast potatoes.

What advice would you give to your college self?

Your North Face fleece does not, in any way, qualify under acceptable and or adequate ‘Scranton Winter’ apparel.

How would you define “values?”

To me, values are, most simply put, your compass. They guide each step you take, how you take them, and eventually, to where you’ll find your passions in life.
