At Rosemont, the academic year begins with the Convocation Ceremony. The students, faculty, administrators, families, alumni, and friends that make up our “community of learners” are invited to come together for this special tradition.
We celebrate the College’s mission, and formally welcome new students from the Undergraduate College and the Schools of Graduate and Professional Students with the Cap & Gown Exercises. New students wear academic gowns and are presented with their caps by Rosemont’s president to symbolize their entrance into the College community.
