Did you know that the Institute provides grant funds for the facilitation of research in ethics or leadership studies? Research supported by the grants is expected to lead to the design of new courses or course modules emphasizing ethics or leadership, or to publication of journal articles or part of a book. Fall 2012 grants were awarded to Steven Alessandri, associate professor of Psychology, and Francis "Brig" Bowe, director of undergraduate accelerated business programs.

Professor Alessandri will utilize the funds for research culminating in a new course that will focus on the psychological roots of good and evil. Professor Bowe will utilize the funds for the development of a Women's Leadership Forum designed to foster research on ethics and empowerment issues.
