Join us at the Bryn Mawr Film Institute at 11 AM on Saturday, February 16 for a free movie screening of Dead Man Walking! The film is about a convicted murderer on death row and the nun who befriends him. Through the portrayal of finely drawn characters and their interactions as the days, hours, and minutes tick down to the condemned man's execution, powerful emotions are unleashed.
Then on Monday, February 18 head to McShain Auditorium to hear Sister Helen Prejean - who wrote the book, which inspired the movie Dead Man Walking - speak about her views on the death penalty. Both are can't miss events!
