Interfaith Thanksgiving Prayer Service

Monday, November 21, 4:00 p.m.

The Immaculate Conception Chapel

All alumni are welcome to attend our annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Prayer Service. This beautiful Rosemont tradition is a student-driven service that celebrates giving thanks through a diverse selection of prayers, poems, sacred readings, dances, music, and anything else coming from the many faiths our Rosemont community represents.

Events:

Special Lecture

Wednesday, November 30 7:30pm

McShain Performing Arts Center

Join us for an evening with Wes Moore, author of The Other Wes Moore: One Name, Two Fates. Moore has been interviewed by Oprah, Charlie Rose, Tavis Smiley, and Stephen Colbert and has been a guest on countless shows ranging from NPR’s “All Things Considered,” and “CBS Sunday Morning,” to “Meet the Press,” and “Radio Times with Marty Moss-Coane.” He was recently featured on the cover of Time.

NEW DATE

Alumni Penny Toss, December 4, 6:00pm

Please join us for this year’s Penny Toss, an annual tradition that takes place in Main Building. Mingle with other alumni while nibbling on light appetizers, then join current students for Mass in the chapel at 7:00pm. At 8:00pm, President Sharon L. Hirsh, Ph.D. ‘70 will continue the tradition of the Penny Toss while the student choir sings carols.

Come back and reminisce with friends about your Penny Toss memories!

Event Recap

NancyLee Schlegal ’76, Wardrobe Consultant

Last Friday, a group of alumni in the area gathered in Main Building for champagne and sweets. NancyLee Schlegal ’76 gave advice on building the perfect wardrobe and answered questions about accessorizing and shopping on a budget. We’re very grateful that NancyLee could spend an evening with us and was willing to share her wardrobe wisdom.
