Kudos to Rosemont

In mid-September, President Hirsh received a letter from parents of a freshman detailing their experience at a soccer game. The letter is a strong testament to the POWER of small, so with their permission, it is included below.

Alumnae Teammates Now On Separate Benches

Former Rosemont Raven teammates Maureen Deviney '06 and Katie Linder '07 still take to the hardwood during basketball season, but now they work on the sidelines as the two alumnae help mentor their teams as coaches of two different schools in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Linder is the Head Coach of the girls' basketball team at St. Hubert's Catholic High School for Girls while Deviney is an Assistant Coach for West Catholic Preparatory.

Jest and Gesture Advocates with Upcoming Performance

Jest and Gesture will be performing The Laramie Project on November 17, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the Rotwitt Theater of the McShain Performing Arts Center. The event is free and open to the public, but concessions will be sold/donations accepted.

Alison Willse - New Drawings

October 2, 2017 - Rosemont, PA - Lawrence Gallery is pleased to announce a new exhibit featuring the works of Alison Willse '06. The show, titled New Drawings, will be on display from October 19 through November 24, 2017. An opening reception will take place Thursday, October 19 from 4 till 7 p.m. with an informal gallery talk at 4:30 p.m.

J. Jondhi Harrell Engages, Informs on Plans to Combat Division Amongst People

Rosemont College's Institute for Ethical Leadership and Social Responsibility held its fall lecture on September 12 at 7:00 p.m. in the Rotwitt Theater of the McShain Performing Arts Center. Students and the greater campus community heard from J. Jondhi Harrell, Founder and Executive Director of The Center for Returning Citizens (TCRC).
