Men’s Basketball: The Ravens earned a pair of CSAC wins this week. At home on Wednesday, Rosemont eked out a tough defensive home win against Centenary, 57-54. On Saturday the Ravens shot 51% from the field and 94% from the charity stripe to run away from Marywood, 73-58 in Scranton.

Rosemont College students, Saarah Hussain and Hailey Summa, accompanied by their mentor Dr. Aikaterini Skokotas, received second prize at the 16th Annual Research Symposium in the Chemical and Biological Sciences.
The November 12 lecture by Dr. Peter Singer hosted by the Institute for Ethical Leadership and Social Responsibility has been cancelled.
In recognition of Hunger and Homelessness Week on our campus, all are welcome to join us at 7 p.m. on November 12 for a “Conversation on Hunger and Homelessness” with Karen Pushaw, a permanent Lay Team Member at St. Francis Inn in Philadelphia. The conversation will be held in the Reading Room of the Gertrude Kistler Memorial Library.
Lawrence Gallery is pleased to announce a new exhibit “AGAINST THE ODDS A TRIBUTE TO SANDE WEBSTER GALLERY” on display November 7, 2013 to January 9, 2014. An opening reception will take place November 7 from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m., and Sande Webster and various artists will talk at 4:30 p.m. The event is free and open to all.
Rosemont is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. Its accreditation was reaffirmed with commendation on June 23, 2011.
