  • The Windows of the Immaculate Conception Chapel

    Students of the Undergraduate College, who have studied and independently researched the windows of the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception Chapel under the direction of Professors Michelle Moravec, Ph.D. and Maggie Hobson-Baker, M.F.A., will present on the stories, imagery, and meanings of the windows in an Open House format at 3 p.m. on January 25.

  • Get Your Free Flu Shot at the Wellness Center

    The flu has arrived in our area and can be especially concerning when students are in close proximity to each other such as in class and living together in residence halls. However, you can protect yourself by washing your hands frequently, avoiding others who are sick (wear a face mask if you must be in close proximity), eating a healthy diet, and of course, getting a flu shot.

    The Wellness Center located in St. Joseph's Hall is offering free flu shots to students between the hours of 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. No appointment needed. For more information call the Wellness Center at x2420.

    This week Cardinal will feature two special meals on Wednesday and Thursday. Enjoy wine braised brisket with cherries, seafood pasta, cajun grilled chicken, stuffed portobello mushrooms, roast beef sliders, and carved chili-rubbed turkey. But wait there's more! The Mediterranean meal will feature Moroccan vegetable soup, balsamic eggplant, rigatoni with almond pesto and Asiago cheese, and a Greek saute station.     The Rosemont men's basketball team earned a historic win against neighboring CSAC-rival Cabrini College Cavaliers January 3, rallying back from a 12-point deficit midway through the second half to stun Cabrini for a final score of 85-78.

  • And the Selfie Winner Is...

    At the beginning of the semester, Rosemont launched a selfie contest asking students to take their best selfie in a variety of categories. Some of the categories included a selfie with President Hirsh, a selfie in a residence hall, most people in a selfie, and a selfie with Renny the Raven.

    The names of the winners of each category (12 in total) were put into a hat with the winning name being...

    First-year student Taliah Graves! Congratulations - you can pick up your Polaroid camera at the Office of Leadership and Engagement in Alumnae Hall.

    Additionally, Professor Moravec is the winner of a $50 Visa gift card for being the professor who took the most selfies. Contact College Relations to pick up your prize.
