On June 8, the Rosemont College Board of Trustees approved a new Strategic Plan. The new plan, which outlines our priorities through the 2017-2018 year, is built upon the tremendous success the College has achieved over the last five years.
As you well know, thanks to the incredible generosity of an anonymous alumna who gifted the College with $5 million last year, we have broken ground on two important projects --- the first phase of the renovation of Cardinal Hall and the reconstruction of our athletic fields.

Every aspiring writer dreams of the day they sign their first contract with a major publishing company. For many that dream takes years to realize; for some it never happens. But in recent months, that dream has become reality for several graduates of Rosemont College’s publishing and creative writing programs within in a few months of their graduation.
Do you need marketing materials designed? Or maybe you have a few changes to your respective web pages? Just need some photographs taken at your next event? No problem - the Office of College Relations has created a simple Project Request Form that you can use for all your marketing needs.
In April, Rosemont adopted a Mass Email Policy to ensure consistent messaging across each department and to reduce the number of mass emails sent to constituents across campus. One component of the policy is the email signature faculty, staff and administration use in all of their email communications.
The holiday schedule for 2013-2014 fiscal year has been announced and includes 16 paid holidays including uninterrupted time off beginning December 23, 2013 - January 1, 2014. Read more for the full list of upcoming holidays.
This year's alumni reunion successfully took place this past weekend on campus. The classes ending in '3 and '8 were honored. More than 150 alumni and guests attended the weekend's festivities including Gala on the Green, Back to Class lectures, the Rose and Grey Luncheon, a Town Hall meeting and Sunday Brunch.
The Alumni Office would like to thank the many volunteers who made the event such a success.
Phase I of the Cardinal renovation project is underway with progress occuring quickly. The Office of College Relations is taking photos on a weekly basis to document the project, which is set to open in August of this year. The photos have been shared on the College's social media pages and have been building buzz among students and alumni.
