  • Mary E. Tucker Named Commencement Speaker

    This year's commencement speaker and honorary degree recipient is Mary Evelyn Tucker.

    A graduate of a Holy Child high school, Mary Evelyn Tucker is a senior lecturer and research scholar at Yale University where she has appointments in the School of Forestry and Environmental Studies as well as the Divinity School and the Department of Religious Studies. She teaches in the joint MA program in religion and ecology and directs the Forum on Religion and Ecology at Yale with her husband, John Grim.

    Rosemont will observe Earth Day on Thursday, April 24 at 4 p.m. in the Rotwitt Theater by viewing the film: WISDOM TO SURVIVE: Climate, Capitalism, Community. The film followed by short discussion led by Dr. Ullrich; All will say the Climate Pledge and then visit the Coral Reef in the Science Lab.

  • New Expedited Transcript Fee

    Effective May 1, 2014, the Registrar’s Office will assess a $10 fee to provide expedited processing of transcripts. This fee will be assessed when a transcript is ordered prior to noon and requested by the end of the business day or ordered after noon and requested prior to noon the following business day. This fee will apply in addition to all other fees applied to the requested transcript.

    Rented textbooks for the Spring 2014 semester are due back at the bookstore by Monday, May 5, 2014. Rented online? Access your rental account to download a FREE FedEx shipping label and ship it back to us! Shipped books must be received no later than the due date.

    We pay cash for textbooks we need! During major buyback periods (April 30-May 5) we may offer as much as 50% of your book's original price. If an instructor requests your textbook for the next term, the value increases. Even if we are overstocked or the book has not been requested for next term, we may still purchase it.
