    The deadline to apply to the Disney College program is Friday, October 31, which is quickly approaching!

    By participating in this program, you are essentially getting your foot in the door with Disney to potentially become a Disney Professional Intern with all of the branches under The Walt Disney Company (ESPN, ABC, Disney Interactive, The Walt Disney Studios, Disney Consumer Products or Corporate).

  • Interfaith Choral Event on Sunday

    Rosemont College is hosting an inter-faith musical gathering at 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 26. Several singing groups will participate including: The Sufi Singers, MIRAJ, St. Mark's Children's Choir, She Who, and the Rosemont College Choir. This is an exciting Interfaith Song Festival that will help promote interfaith communication and understanding through music. The event is free and open to the public.

  • And the Selfie Winner Is...

    At the beginning of the semester, Rosemont launched a selfie contest asking students to take their best selfie in a variety of categories. Some of the categories included a selfie with President Hirsh, a selfie in a residence hall, most people in a selfie, and a selfie with Renny the Raven.

    The names of the winners of each category (12 in total) were put into a hat with the winning name being...

    First-year student Taliah Graves! Congratulations - you can pick up your Polaroid camera at the Office of Leadership and Engagement in Alumnae Hall.

    Additionally, Professor Moravec is the winner of a $50 Visa gift card for being the professor who took the most selfies. Contact College Relations to pick up your prize.

  • New Expedited Transcript Fee

    Effective May 1, 2014, the Registrar’s Office will assess a $10 fee to provide expedited processing of transcripts. This fee will be assessed when a transcript is ordered prior to noon and requested by the end of the business day or ordered after noon and requested prior to noon the following business day. This fee will apply in addition to all other fees applied to the requested transcript.

  • Mary Evelyn Tucker Named Commencement Speaker

    This year's commencement speaker and honorary degree recipient is Mary Evelyn Tucker.

    A graduate of a Holy Child high school, Mary Evelyn Tucker is a senior lecturer and research scholar at Yale University where she has appointments in the School of Forestry and Environmental Studies as well as the Divinity School and the Department of Religious Studies.
