The flu has arrived in our area and can be especially concerning when students are in close proximity to each other such as in class and living together in residence halls. However, you can protect yourself by washing your hands frequently, avoiding others who are sick (wear a face mask if you must be in close proximity), eating a healthy diet, and of course, getting a flu shot.
The Wellness Center located in St. Joseph's Hall is offering free flu shots to students between the hours of 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. No appointment needed. For more information call the Wellness Center at x2420.

At the beginning of the semester, Rosemont launched a selfie contest asking students to take their best selfie in a variety of categories. Some of the categories included a selfie with President Hirsh, a selfie in a residence hall, most people in a selfie, and a selfie with Renny the Raven.
The names of the winners of each category (12 in total) were put into a hat with the winning name being...
First-year student Taliah Graves! Congratulations - you can pick up your Polaroid camera at the Office of Leadership and Engagement in Alumnae Hall.
Additionally, Professor Moravec is the winner of a $50 Visa gift card for being the professor who took the most selfies. Contact College Relations to pick up your prize.
