Visit to Campus by Finalist Candidates
Posted March 14, 2011
Week of March 21- Cedric Adderley, D.M.A is presently Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs at Claflin University in Orangeburg, South Carolina. He is also Faculty Development Coordinator. His responsibilities include providing leadership and support to deans and department heads, working to ensure shared vision and collaboration within the Division and developing new strategies for expansion of existing programs as well as implementation of new programs in both traditional undergraduate school and Professional and Graduates School. Dr. Adderley received his D.M.A. and M.M. in composition from University of South Carolina and his B. M in Music Education from East Carolina State.
The purposes of these visits are two-fold. First, they will enable us to get to know the candidates better. Second, and perhaps more importantly, the visits will allow us to further acquaint the candidates with Rosemont College and its constituents.
Throughout the search process, the committee has pledged to protect the identity of candidates. Obviously, we can no longer promise confidentiality to these finalists, but we have shared this information only with the campus community.
In addition to the search committee’s preliminary interviews with these candidates, we have had many conversations with individuals who have worked with them and know them well. There is a strong consensus within the search committee that these candidates could provide excellent, effective leadership for Rosemont College.
All members of the community are invited to meet the candidates at an all college open meeting. We will let you know the date and time of the next meeting soon.
Response forms will be available near the meeting location. We ask that you complete the form and return it to Pam Talone by the end of the candidate’s visit to campus.
Thank you for your continuing support and assistance.
