Rosemont College Appoints Dr. Lisa Dolling to Provost and Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs

Rosemont College is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Lisa M. Dolling as Provost and Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs. Dolling joined the Rosemont community in late September and oversees all aspects of the student experience inside and outside of the classroom. Dolling will also provide guidance, support, and strategic direction to the Deans of the Undergraduate College, the Dean of the Schools of Graduate and Professional Studies, Rosemont's faculty members, and the staff members of the Office of Student Life, the Student Academic Support Center, and the Office of the Registrar. Rosemont Students Celebrate Eagles Super Bowl Victory at Party and Parade

More than a hundred students, faculty, and staff members poured into an event at Cardinal Hall on Sunday, February 4 to watch the Philadelphia Eagles take on the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII. The event, which was hosted by Leadership and Engagement, featured an extensive dinner menu prepared by the Cardinal Hall dinning staff. The menu included a wing bar, six-foot hoagies, and themed cake, among other things. Throughout the event, several prizes were given away to students.

Rosemont College Announces "Duffy's Cut Revisited"

Rosemont College is pleased to announce "Duffy's Cut Revisited," an event featuring guest lecturer Dr. William E. Watson. The event will take place in the Rotwitt Theater at the McShain Performing Arts Center, on March 14, 2018, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., with a reception at 6:30 p.m.

Professor Erin Entrada Kelly Wins Prestigious Newbery Medal

Rosemont College is pleased to announce that Professor Erin Entrada Kelly's middle-grade novel Hello, Universe, a story about a diverse group of unlikely friends who form an alliance to take down a school bully after a prank gone wrong, has won the John Newbery Medal for the outstanding children's book of 2017.
