2017 Ann Donaldson Award presented to Women’s Soccer Standout

At the end-of-year Athletic Banquet on Sunday, April 30, the Rosemont Ravens Athletics staff recognized the accomplishments of student athletes with various awards for their work on and off the playing field. Included in the honors and accolades was the annual Ann S. Donaldson Award.

The Ann S. Donaldson Academic Athletic Excellence Award is presented to the junior or senior student-athlete who has displayed excellence in the classroom and on the playing field. The athlete must have had at least three years of varsity experience at Rosemont, a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.20, and have been a key contributor to his/her team.

The voting for this award is campus-wide. Ben Gluckman, Sports Information Director recently announced in a campus-wide email that the following student-athletes qualified for nomination of the 2017 award:

Kaushik Dhanyamraju (Senior, Men’s Soccer)

Khadim Diaw (Senior, Men’s Basketball)

Emily Javitt (Senior, Women’s Tennis)

Kyle Lafferty (Senior, Men’s Basketball)

Taylor Mohr (Senior, Women’s Soccer)

Cassidy Steiner (Senior, Women’s Soccer)

Dan Suarez (Senior, Men’s Soccer & Tennis)

Cheyenne Tumolo (Junior, Women’s Soccer)

Karsyn Wright (Senior, Golf & Men’s Lacrosse)

Lora Zubrzycki (Junior, Softball)

Voting commenced after the announcement of nominees on April 11 and concluded on April 19. After tallying the ballots, utilizing a 1-3 ranking system (1 being the most deserved)…

Taylor Mohr ‘17

The College extends their sincere congratulations to Taylor! She will have her name engraved on a permanent plaque that is displayed in Alumnae Hall. A congratulations is also extended to the Rosemont student athletes for an outstanding presence this year on the field, court, turf… and most importantly, in the classroom.
