How many credits are required for the M.S.L.?

To complete the degree, the student must complete 27 credit-hours and a 6-credit thesis.

Are transfer credits accepted into the program?

Yes, a maximum of six graduate credits may be considered for transfer from an accredited institution. In order for graduate credits to be considered by the Deans for transfer, they must be exact academic matches to the courses Rosemont College offers.

Is the GMAT/GRE required?

No, we do not require the GMAT or the GRE. We do, however, require a personal interview with each candidate who is applying for admission.

If my undergraduate degree is in something other than business, am I still eligible for the program?

Yes, many students in the M.S.L. program have degrees other than business. A main criterion of the program is students must have at least three years of management experience to be eligible for the program.

How long is each graduate course?

Each graduate course is seven weeks in length. All classes meet one night per week from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m.

Is it possible to manage work and school simultaneously?

Absolutely. All of the students in the program are working professionals that juggle their work, school, and personal lives. The program is designed to meet the needs of working professionals by offering flexible scheduling, easy registration, and experienced facilitators. Students in the program will be able to find most of the program's information online.

Is Financial Aid available?

Financial Aid is available through Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Students interested in receiving aid will be required to fill out the form a few weeks prior to starting the program. The FAFSA form is available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.

What is the traditional age of students in the program?

Students in the program are typically in their late twenties ranging up to their fifties.

How is the program structured?

All classes are reading and writing intensive and require oral presentations. Students are encouraged to obtain their books and the syllabus prior to the first night of class.

Tuition

All tuition charges for programs in the Schools of Graduate and Professional Studies are assessed by the number of credit hours in which you enroll for a given semester. When creating your personal budget for your college expenses you will need to estimate costs for books, transportation, and other miscellaneous items. Student loan information is available through the Office of Financial Aid; questions regarding payments and payment plans should be directed to the Office of Student Accounts.
