Master of Science in Leadership

Program Format

M.S.L. classes are designed for the professional level adult who is often working during the day. As a new student, you are given the opportunity to begin coursework in any of the six sessions offered during the academic year.

  • Less than two years full time
  • Seven-week sessions – one night/week 6 - 10 p.m./ M-Th
  • Tuition: $615/credit hour; General fee: $35/credit hour

  • Classes at our main campus, Rosemont Downtown, online, CHOP – 3535 Market St.

MSL Graduate Certificate:

  • Classes are held Monday - Thursday from 6 - 10 p.m.
  • 15 credits
  • Tuition: $615/credit hour; General fee: $35/credit hour
  • Seven-week sessions

Philosophy and Program Options

Rosemont's MSL program is designed for current and aspiring leaders who want to be at the forefront of organizational and societal change. Coursework consists of oral presentations, group work, individual self-assessments and papers. Each course is taught by a master practitioner who brings real life work situations to the classroom for discussion and analysis.

Students in the MSL program will learn:

  • The fundamentals of ethical leadership and decision making
  • How to communicate and lead in a culturally diverse environment at the organizational and global levels
  • How to lead change for innovation and alignment
  • Best practices in communicating across cultures and across generations
  • How to best use technology to improve organizational effectiveness
  • The fundamentals of operating a business in a global economy
  • How to best leverage Human Capital as a tool to foster knowledge transfer

Students in the MSL program have the opportunity to participate in workshops and professional development activities offered through the College's Institute for Ethical Leadership and Social Responsibility.

Tuition

All tuition charges for programs in the Schools of Graduate and Professional Studies are assessed by the number of credit hours in which you enroll for a given semester. When creating your personal budget for your college expenses you will need to estimate costs for books, transportation, and other miscellaneous items. Student loan information is available through the Office of Financial Aid; questions regarding payments and payment plans should be directed to the Office of Student Accounts.
