How many credits are required for the MBA?

A.

To complete the MBA degree, a student must take 30 credit-hours and a 3-credit thesis.

Q.

Are transfer credits accepted into the program?

A.

Yes, a maximum of six graduate credits may be considered for transfer from an accredited institution. In order for graduate credits to be considered by the Deans for transfer, they must be exact academic matches to the courses Rosemont College offers.

Q.

Is the GMAT/GRE required?

A.

No, we do not require the GMAT or the GRE. We do, however, require a personal interview with each candidate who is applying for admission.

Q.

If my undergraduate degree is in something other than business, am I still eligible for the program?

A.

Yes, many students in the MBA program have degrees other than business. A main criterion of the program is students must have at least three years of management experience to be eligible for the program.

Q.

How long does each graduate course run?

A.

Each graduate course is seven weeks in length. All classes meet one night per week from 6-10 p.m.

Is financial aid available?

A.

Financial Aid is available through Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Students interested in receiving aid will be required to fill out the form a few weeks prior to starting the program. The FAFSA form is available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.

What is the traditional age of students in the program?

A.

Students in the program are typically in their late 20s ranging up to their 50s.

Q.

How is the program structured?

A.

All classes are reading and writing intensive. An assignment is always due the first night of class, therefore, it is imperative students obtain their books and the syllabus prior to the first night of class.
