Ron Davies is the director of Rosemont's graduate education program. He earned his B.S. in Biological Sciences and Social Studies (double major) and M.Ed. in Secondary Education from the University of Pittsburgh. Ron completed his D.Ed. from The Pennsylvania State University with a major in Curriculum and Instruction. He holds certifications as a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction, Principal, School Program Specialist, Supervisor of Science, Biological Science and Social Science.
Dr. Davies has served as a classroom teacher, elementary principal, assistant high school principal, Supervisor of K-12 Curriculum and Instruction, Director of Staff Development, Staff Development Consultant, Supervisor of Student Teachers, Professor in M.Ed. Program, Professor in Ed.D. Educational Leadership Program, Dissertation Advisor, Coordinator of Educational Leadership Program and Director of Graduate Studies in Education prior to assuming his current position at Rosemont College. His extensive experiences in education encompass teaching and administrative positions in both public and private schools as well as higher education.
