The Renovation Process

Gracemere is well-suited to the type of living arrangement that today's student prefers. Rosemont has commissioned the local firm of Kimmel-Bogrette Architecture + Site to renovate the building at an approximate cost of $550,000.

The renovations will create desirable student suites with adjacent semi-private bathrooms. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, an ADA accessible double suite with bathroom will be added on the main floor. Attractive, inviting common rooms will be upgraded for seminars, events, social gatherings, study, prayer and reflection.

Required safety renovations include upgrades to the electrical system, fire escape and porches along with new air conditioning and indoor sprinkler systems. Further, state-of-the-art telecommunications connectivity will be available throughout Gracemere.
