New Student Housing

Housing Deadline

In order to be guaranteed on campus housing, new students (first-years and transfer students) should submit their housing applications no later than June 1.

Housing applications received after June 1 will be accepted, however your preferences may not be fulfilled. 

Please note: all new students are required to pay a non-refundable $150 housing deposit. 

All new undergraduate students (including first-year transfer students) must also complete the Roommate Preference form, which is used to match you with the most compatible roommate available. To ensure so, please be honest when completing this form. 

Room Assignments

The Residence Life staff will attempt to assign you housing based on your preference, but cannot guarantee this. There are a limited number of single rooms, so most students will be placed into double occupancy rooms. 

You will receive your housing assignment in the mail shortly after we receive your paperwork.

Room Changes

Students who wish to change room assignments may do so during the open room change period. The Residence Life staff will make every effort to accommodate your request.
