Dani's Final Days

Danielle Lelie - May 9, 2016

Day 4

Day 4-Freshman year I was so excited to move out when spring semester was done. All my things were packed and I couldn't wait to get home for the summer. Looking at my room now, I can't even bring myself to pack my clothes. 🌹 This will be the last time I have to lug my entire room up and down the stairs and the last time my dad will have to carry a fridge.. Bitter sweet.

Day 3

Day 3-I'm a little behind on the posts but Ive been having such a great time on senior week I almost forgot I was graduating 🎉 #3 Three rhymes with Bri! "If there comes a day where we can't be together, keep me in your heart and I'll stay there forever." Some people just get you and the friendship comes so naturally. You're my person and I know that no matter where life takes us, we will always be friends. I am so grateful for our daily Dunkin runs, singing in the car, and stealing all your clothes. You're one of the only people that can read my mind and understand how I am feeling just by looking at me. You're also the only person who excepts my pizza addiction. Rosemont didn't only give me an amazing senior year roommate or a best friend, Rosemont gave me a second sister. It feels like we've been friends forever, and you only realized I existed about a year ago. Here's to many more with my soul mate

Day 2

Day 2-Well, we all saw this one coming.. Rosemont gave me long, spontaneous road trips, a love for facial hair, and a fuller heart. Rosemont gave me a number one fan, a partner in crime, and life long best friend. Rosemont challenged me in many ways. I was stressed out, worn out, and ready to give up on school and live in a box, but Rosemont gave me #2 Rosemont gave me you. Thank you for getting me through these past four years with mass amounts of coffee, pizza (w/ ranch), and unconditional love. Out of all the times I have wanted to smack you, I have (probably) wanted to hug you more.. maybe. We don't meet people by accident. There was a reason you handed me your ID that night (okay, I stole it) and there was a reason our rides left with out us (thanks guys). I can't imagine a Rosemont without "Dani & Ryan" and I can't imagine a life without you. Heres to 1000 more trips, 1 million more naps, and even more pizza

Day 1

Day 1- Here it is, the final post.. "Let me win, but if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt" -Athlete Oath of the Special Olympics • As we lay in our rooms for the last time as an undergraduate student at Rosemont College we should all take a second to remember why we started. Some of us were forced to go to school, some of us have had our lives planned out since elementary school career day. We all have one thing in common now though, we made it. 🎉 All of my hard work, the long nights of studying, and the piles and piles of homework has all been so worth it knowing that I have the opportunity to work with children who have enough heart and dedication to fill an entire room. Thank you Rosemont for helping me figure out where I belong and for discovering my passion 🌹 my heart is full but my eyes are wide open & ready for the next chapter. I know this isn't a goodbye, it's a see ya later. This ones for you guys

Zero

Day 0- Days left as a student at Rosemont college so it only makes sense to finish where I started just four short years ago • I'm officially a Rosemont College ALUM! 🎉🌹🍾 Thanks Mom, Dad, & Maria and all the other family and friends who believed in me. I couldn't have done this without you ❤️ This may be where the Rosemont chapter ends, but there is still an entire book left to write.
