Assistant to the Treasurer

The Society of the Holy Child Jesus, Drexel Hill, PA is seeking an individual who will assist the Treasurer in all aspects of financial recordkeeping and reporting including: budgeting, cash management, accounts receivable, property/liability/auto insurance oversight, automobile fleet management, audit entries, individual income tax preparation for Sisters; as well as clerical duties including organizing and maintaining files and other duties as assigned. Computer proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Word, and knowledge of Sage/MIP accounting software is preferred. Bachelor's degree in accounting and previous experience in accounting and general business is a must. Individual must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Development Coordinator

The Society of the Holy Child Jesus is seeking a Development Coordinator to provide diversified administrative support to include: Planning and coordinating fundraising/alumni activities and special events, preparing donor-related reports, gift acknowledgments, updating and maintaining multiple databases, and assisting in prospect research.

Qualifications: H.S. diploma or equivalent required. A Bachelor's degree is preferred. Experience in fundraising, alumni relations, events planning, or related field is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point). Previous experience utilizing fundraising software is preferred. Interns must be professional, efficient, and comfortable with computers. The job will be to do research and support for our back office methods of procedure. Chorus Communications is a telecommunications company located in the heart of Old City along with our marketing company, Metrospect Events Inc.

There is flexibility but standard is 3 or 4 hour intern shifts 3 days a week. The office operates Monday through Friday. The times and days of these intern shifts are flexible. Excellent opportunity to add credibility to your resume. If your school will allow you credit, we are happy to assist in any way possible.

Objective: To provide support to the back office department. Learn daily functions of a small business and service standards of the company.

Requirements: Seeking a motivated and flexible individual who is pursuing a degree in a business related field or who has recently graduated college. Good organizational skills and interpersonal skills a must.

Computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite XP or Higher

Responsibilities (including but not limited to the following):
  • Profile customer feedback and provide Team with overview of customer product needs.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction initiatives, including but not limited to the new customer gift package program.
  • Provide support for growing existing business accounts.
  • Auditing customer and marketing material for accuracy of data.
  • Work with office team to ensure customer service has detailed and up to date product information & training collateral.
  • Standard reporting and analysis.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Must be able to learn tasks quickly and be independently productive.
