Post Graduate Success Corner
Rosemont College’s core curriculum requires all undergraduate students to participate in an experiential learning program for graduation from the Undergraduate College. The Office of Post Graduate Success coordinates student internship, service learning, undergraduate research, and study abroad opportunities.
It is important to learn about these options as a freshman so you and your advisor can efficiently plan for these experiences. Experiential Learning offers students the opportunity to apply classroom learning to outside environments. Each type of experiential learning offers a different opportunity for students:
- Internships allow students to experience employment in a particular field.
- Service projects enable students to contribute to their community while learning.
- Undergraduate research introduces students to the protocols of scientific investigation.
- Studying abroad engages students in culture and personal growth though travel.
The Office of Post Graduate Success is located in Good Counsel in Room 107. We are here to help students successfully complete their experiential learning requirement and assist with professional development.
