    Rosemont Graduates Ink Book Deals

    Every aspiring writer dreams of the day they sign their first contract with a major publishing company. For many that dream takes years to realize; for some it never happens. But in recent months, that dream has become reality for several graduates of Rosemont College’s publishing and creative writing programs within in a few months of their graduation.

  • Wendell and Anita Holland of Bryn Mawr to Be Honored

    Wendell and Anita Holland are the recipients of the 2013 Cresset Award. The Cresset Award is given by Rosemont College to outstanding individuals who have demonstrated a strong commitment to promoting values and to supporting education for all people. Both will be honored at the 23rd Cresset Award Dinner on May 8, at the Merion Cricket Club, in Haverford, PA.

  • Rosemont to Host Writers' Retreat in June

    Rosemont College starts off the summer by offering retreats for talented writers and authors wishing to refine and enhance their skills and immerse themselves in their craft. Participants attending these creatively stimulating and intensive training programs can choose from weekend, weeklong or combination sessions led by respected professional writers and instructors.

  • Leader Lecture Series: Giving Voice to Values

    The Institute for Ethical Leadership and Social Responsibility at Rosemont College, in collaboration with the graduate Leadership program, is pleased to announce Ellen Daly as the second leader lecturer for the 2012-2013 academic year. Daly will present “Giving Voice to Values: Maintaining an Ethical Organization” on Tuesday, March 19 at 6:30 p.m. in Kaul Hall at Rosemont College. The lecture is free and open to all.

  • Three Men's Basketball Seniors Recognized

    Three Rosemont College seniors were honored February 11, the last Rosemont home basketball game of the season. Derrick Carter, Justin Chaney and Tremell Green were on Rosemont’s premiere men’s basketball team, which took the court for the first time on November 19, 2009.

  • Rosemont Promotes Environmental Sustainability Initiatives

    Rosemont College is again participating in the annual recycling competition, Recyclemania, and has expanded several waste elimination initiatives on campus designed to actively promote the concepts of reducing, reusing and recycling to staff and students.

  • Montecchio Sets New Rosemont Basketball All-Time Record for Total Career Points

    Ashley Montecchio saved her best for last and helped Rosemont rally for a 70–67 victory over Keystone College Monday night that earned the senior from Sun Valley High School an exclusive place in the history of the women’s basketball program. Going into the week, Montecchio was ranked 1st nationally in points scored per game in NCAA Division III.

  • Pulitzer Prize-Winning Author To Speak About Immigration

    Pulitzer prize winning journalist and author of Enrique’s Journey, Sonia Nazario, will be speaking about her book and current immigration issues at Rosemont College on Monday, November 26. The lecture is free and open to the public.

  • In Memoriam: Dr. Suzanne Varimbi

    Professor Varimbi is remembered by generations of Rosemont students as an inspired and gifted teacher and mentor.
